Playing For Change Day

Working closely as partners of the Playing For Change Foundation, HiDef has launched a technology platform for a first-of-a-kind, global music event for social change through music.

Playing for Change Day will allow musicians of all backgrounds to perform for social good on street corners, cafes, and stages around the world on September 17, 2011.

Musicians who take part will also be able to create fundraising goals that enable their fans to donate to one of the school’s programs, either online prior to the event, or right from their phone during the event.

The project will leverage industry leading technologies from Facebook to YouTube to create this one of a kind mobile, social experience.

We’re excited to be using the best of web and mobile technologies to promote global peace and opportunity through music.
